Job Description
|
Navy C4ISR
Systems Engineering for systems engineering, development, integration,
test, and life-cycle support for a wide range of Navy, Joint, and
National C4I systems. Specific
focus includes DCGS-N, GCCS-M, MILSTAR, MUOS, JTIDS/MIDS, CDL, NITES, and
CANES.

Required skills:
|
• Systems Engineering and architecture support in one or
more of the following capability areas:
- Communications/Networking
- Command & Control
- Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR)
- Information Operations (IO)
- Space Systems
• Experience
with JCIDS, DoD 5000 Acquisition Process, and
Navy SYSCOM SETRs
• Development
and verification of Navy SE documentation such as TRD, SRD, SDS, SSS,
SSDD, SRS, IRS, IDD, STP, STD, and STR.
• Architecture, JCIDS, and SE tools such as System
Architect, DOORS, Requisite Pro, Magic Draw, and CORE.

• Netcentric Enterprise Solutions for

Task areas:

Requirements Analysis -
functional analysis and develop functional, performance, and detailed
design specifications in support of implementation
·
Systems Design - design, develop,
and document command and intelligence prototype hardware and software
components and subsystems to provide new functional, cybersecure
capabilities or improve the performance of information processing and
data transport
·
System Upgrades - provide systems engineering support to
determine appropriate modifications and improvements to existing command
and intelligence systems and networks
·
Interface Engineering -
identify integration or interface requirements, develop design
specifications, and implement the interface or integration approach among
selected C4I subsystems
·
Proof of Concept and
Implementation - provide turnkey
solutions for C4I proof-of-concept and prototype systems and networks

5+ years C4I, weapons/combat system, or ISR

BS/BA - PhD
• Systems / Electrical / Electronics
Engineering
• Computer / Information Science
• Mathematics or Physical Science
