Job Description:	Systems engineering support to Navy at acquisition command (NAVSEA PEO Integrated Warfare Systems). Develop acquisition and systems engineering documents and specifications, review designs and new technologies; develop test plans and conduct testing, initiate new technology research, support requirements development and analysis. Exciting new technologies for cold atom interferometry, micro position, navigation, and timing, and IMU’s on a chip.
Task areas:	• Review TRDs and IRS for RFP and ECPs / CM technical support throughout SDLC • Support Navigation Wholeness • Support Navigation Suite Cyber Architecture • Support technical review of technology initiatives (e.g., SBIR’s) and develop transition plans • Participate in Alternative PNT, Assured PNT, and Celestial Nav Working Groups • Investigate current and emerging INS operational and supported system requirements for BMD, Strike, MIW and other mission areas • Develop and/or review Navy ECDIS and WECDIS specifications and acquisition documents. • Participate in ECDIS-N S&T technical review and outreach • Participate in Combat System and C4I integration and architecture events • Develop and/or review required system specifications: Capability Development Document (CDD), Capability Production Document (CPD), and System Design Specification (SDS) • Support Milestone, Gate, and SETR reviews • Develop Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) • Develop Information Assurance Strategy (IA) • Develop Program Protection Plan (PPP) • Develop Information Support Plan (ISP) • Develop Software Support Sustainment Plan (SSSP)
Experience:	5+ years
Education:	BS to PhD in Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science. Equivalent Navy experience will be considered.
